Reference is made to the announcement dated 27 July 2012 in relation to the approval from the shareholders of Denko on all resolutions in relation to the Proposals.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Denko, Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Company had on 17 August 2012, filed an application to the High Court of Malaya (“High Court”) to obtain the sanction of the High Court for the Proposed Par Value Reduction and Proposed Share Premium Reduction.
