STATUTORY NOTICE OF DEMAND AND WINDING UP PETITION AGAINST MEGA LEGACY (M) SDN BHD IN THE KUALA LUMPUR HIGH COURT
The Board of Directors of Brem wishes to announce that the solicitors of Brem, Messrs. Kamarudin & Partners (the “Solicitors”) had on 18 June 2012 served a Statutory Notice of Demand (the “Notice”) pursuant to Section 218 of the Companies Act, 1965 on Mega Legacy (M) Sdn Bhd (Co. No. 304422-K) (“Mega Legacy”) demanding the payment of balance of settlement sum of RM25,000,000.00 (the “Balance Settlement Sum”) together with late interest of RM12,500.00 plus interest chargeable thereon until full settlement. Mega Legacy has been put to notice to pay the balance settlement sum together with interest within twenty-one (21) days from the date of the Notice, failing which a winding up petition may be filed against Mega Legacy.
