Panasonic Manufacturing Malaysia Berhad is engaged in the manufacture and sale of electrical home appliances and related components. The Company operates in two segments: home appliance and fan. The Company’s products include dish dryer, bidel, cooker, lender, juicer, food processor, home shower, fan, iron and vacuum cleaner. As of March 31, 2011, the Company held 40% interest in its associated company, Panasonic Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, The principal activities of the associated company consist of the sales of consumer electronic products, home appliances, office automation, project systems and room air-conditioners under the brand name Panasonic. Panasonic Corporation is the Company’s ultimate holding company. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2011, the Company ceased its dry battery segment.
