Retailing includes operations of a chain of superstores and supermarkets selling clothing, food, household goods and other merchandise. Property management services are engaged in shopping centre operation. On May 4, 2010, the Company opened AEON Bandaraya Melaka Shopping Centre. The Shopping Centre had a total net lettable area of approximately 655,000 square feet, the 3-level shopping centre has 223 retail shops and more than 2,200 parking bays for shoppers. On July 20, 2010, the Company opened AEON Mahkota Cheras Shopping Centre. The shopping centre had total net lettable area of approximately 308,000 square feet, the 2-level shopping centre has 77 retail shops offering an assortment of goods for everyone. It has 690 parking bays for shoppers.
