Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad (AIR) is an investment holding company. It operates principally within the water industry and in the state of Johor Darul Takzim, Malaysia. It is a supplier of treated water providing a range of treated water and sewerage services in Malaysia. The water treatment plants in the State of Johor are managed by its water treatment company Southern Water Corporation Sdn Bhd. (SWC). Two other treatment plants under the AIR Group are run by associated companies Equiventures Sdn Bhd and Strategi Tegas (M) Sdn Bhd. AIR's subsidiary includes SWC. SWC is engaged in Water treatment, rehabilitation of water treatment plants and construction of water works. During the years ended December 31, 2010 and 2009, the Company’s Central Laboratory located in Parit Raja and 12 other laboratories in the district of Muar, Segamat, Kluang and Batu Pahat conducted a combined total of approximately 867,000 tests. More than 70% of AIR’s equity is held by MMC Corporation Berhad.
